Lake Placid Pub & Brewery
Craft breweries have grown immensely in recent years, but Lake Placid Pub & Brewery is an established veteran in the industry. Since 1996, Lake Placid Pub & Brewery has delighted patrons with refreshing brews, delicious food, and even craft cocktails. Along the way, it has been well decorated, winning many awards. If you visit, you’ll have 12 beers on tap to choose from, giving you plenty of options and ensuring you’ll find something suitable to your tastes.
Great Adirondack Brewing Company
Since relaunching in 2018, Great Adirondack Brewing Company has established itself as one of the best breweries in the Lake Placid area. Don’t let the name fool you, this spot is just as much a restaurant as a brewery; they serve great food, especially steak and seafood. Pairing your meal with a craft brew is the perfect way to cap off a day. We recommend the Whiteface Stout, which is highly touted and received the New York Craft Brewers Silver Medal in 2021.
The Boat Tasting Room
Technically, The Boat Tasting Room isn’t a brewery; it’s a tasting room. That said, you can still get plenty of great beer from Wood Boat Brewery on tap. Wood Boat Brewery is a craft brewery based in Clayton, but they opened The Boat Tasting Room to give the people of Lake Placid a chance to sample their finest brews. In addition to Wood Boat Brewery beer, you can also taste wine and spirits.
Big Slide Brewery & Public House
Brunch at a brewery? You can enjoy that and more at Big Slide Brewery & Public House. This local Lake Placid brewery features ten unique brews on tap, many of which are award winners, like the Giant IPA, and delicious food. They are always trying something new, whether it’s a chili pepper beer or a funky sour. This is one Lake Placid brewery you won’t want to miss when visiting.
