One night deposit will be taken at time of booking. Payment is due in full 30 days prior to arrival for reservations with travel dates during the following travel periods:

Christmas Week (Friday preceding Christmas Day through January 1st)

President’s Day Week (Friday preceding President’s Day through following Saturday)

Lake Placid Ironman (Friday preceding race day though Ironman Sunday)

Based on your travel dates, the cancellation & modification policy is either 10 days or 30 days prior to arrival. Group reservation cancellation & modification policy is 45 days prior to arrival.

Our standard cancellation policy is 10 days prior to arrival. Reservations with travel dates during peak season and certain holiday periods are subject to a 30 day cancellation policy. Reservations that are cancelled within this period will forfeit their deposit. Reservations cannot be modified within the cancellation period. Should you shorten the length of your stay prior to your arrival, you will be charged a one night penalty. If after you check into the resort, should it be necessary for you to depart earlier than your confirmed dates, you will be responsible for all of the original room nights reserved.

No-show reservations will forfeit their first night deposit plus taxes. Payment will be collected for the remaining balance for original room nights reserved, less taxes.

Pets and emotional support animals are not allowed at Whiteface Lodge. Service animals specifically trained to do work or perform tasks for people with disabilities are welcome. A strict $500 per night penalty will be incurred for violations. Whiteface Lodge reserves the right to refuse entry and accommodation.

Whiteface Lodge complies with all regulations and laws pertaining to service animals as outlined in The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Americans with Disabilities Act Amendments Act (ADAAA). Service animals, defined as dogs (or miniature horses) that are individually trained to do work or perform tasks for people with disabilities, are welcomed at Whiteface Lodge.

Emotional support animals do not meet this criteria and are thus not permitted on Whiteface Lodge grounds. More information regarding service animals can be found here https://www.ada.gov/service_animals_2010.htm.

Oversize vehicles and tow-behind trailers of any kind are not permitted at Whiteface Lodge. Please contact Guest Services for parking recommendations.
