Get a little wet, but not from the rain, when you go swimming in Whiteface Lodge’s pool. Our indoor pool is open year-round and is heated for extra comfort. Swim laps, float around, or simply relax with your family and friends. Need to relax? We also have an indoor hot tub for you to unwind.
2. Check out Lake Placid Center for the Arts
Explore Lake Placid’s art scene at the Lake Placid Center for the Arts. The Lake Placid Center for the Arts has an art gallery where you can admire artwork from national and local artists. Exhibits frequently rotate to showcase a wide variety of interesting pieces. The Lake Placid Center for the Arts’ gallery is open Wednesday through Saturday.
3. Watch a Movie
Movie watching is a quintessential rainy day activity, and you can enjoy it in style at Whiteface Lodge. We show three films a day in our 56 seat surround sound, 3D movie theater. Of course, no movie-watching experience is complete without popcorn, so our guests can enjoy complimentary freshly made popcorn as well. The Whiteface Lodge’s movie theater is only for our guests.
