Yoga/Pilates Fusion is a combination of the practices of yoga and pilates. Physically, the practice renews, invigorates and heals the body. Muscles become tight and toned, the internal organs are massaged and detoxified for optimal function. At a mental level, the benefits of Yoga are to relieve stress, anxiety and depression because it helps you quiet your mind and control the flow of unwanted thoughts and worries. Posture guides the spine into a proper alignment and the whole body improves its circulation. It will also improve flexibility, balance and coordination.
This water based class will help you utilize a range of beginner to advanced level exercises. The goal is to help enhance the range of motion and strength by using water resistant equipment.
This is a high energy circuit class involving dumbbells, steppers, jump ropes and mats. This class is for intermediate and above guests who are looking to build their cardio and strength; modifications will be made if necessary. Circuit training is a 55 minute Boot Camp style class.
This isn't your ordinary cardio-conditioning class. This thrilling, max-interval style workout takes you through drill based exercises focused on cardio, strength, and agility to reach your personal best. Come try this workout for effective weight loss exercises, to build strength, and great cross-training. No weights or equipment needed and modifications are shown. Don't let the name intimidate you. All ability levels are welcomed!
Vinyasa Yoga Flow
In this class we will align the movement of the body with the flow of the breath to create a balanced sequence of postures, breathing techniques, and meditation to give participants the full yoga experience. This class is for everyone as modifications will be given while we will explore the heart of yoga in a beautiful setting.
Meet the Instructors
Mim Frantz discovered the gifts of yoga while training on the U.S. Figure skating team and has been practicing with master teachers over the last two decades. Mim’s classes are ever changing and evolving. They range from restorative and introspective, pilates inspired core sequences, and finessed based flow.
Jocelyn Law is a Licensed Massage Therapist that has owned her own Massage business for two years in Playa Samara, Costa Rica and now resides in the heart of the Adirondacks. She enjoys fitness, rock climbing, hula hooping and the great outdoors. Jocelyn is hoping to bring people together and spread her knowledge of Wellness.
Kate Briskie is a wife with two young boys, and independent online fitness coach. I love anything to do with family, food, fitness, and fun. Encouraging and motivating others to be the best version of themselves is my passion.
Marcie Wenn has been a group fitness instructor for over 20 years and have taught all ages of people from the very young to the more experienced person. I love movement, especially dance and yoga and am a Registered Yoga Teacher, a White Belt Nia Teacher as well as a Zumba and Bellyfit instructor.
