The Whiteface Lodge Announces a New Price-Friendly Wedding Package

LAKE PLACID, NY (July, 2010) – Ideally positioned among the majestic Adirondack Mountains in Lake Placid, the Whiteface Lodge provides a stunning year-round destination for wedding and vow renewal ceremonies. To promote its distinctive services and venues, the Lodge today announced the “Adirondack Weddings Package.”

The new package, effective immediately, offers a variety of sophisticated services and amenities, such as a gratis “welcome” gift for the bride and groom featuring champagne and homemade chocolate-covered strawberries. Additional elements include a $500.00 spa credit to inspire friends and family to enjoy the property’s 5,800-square-foot, full service spa, which offers an array of relaxing treatments for men and women, in addition to hair and makeup services for the bridal party. Additional pricefriendly features include offering a savings of $2,000 to couples who select a Friday or Sunday wedding, and couples who choose to book a 2011 or 2012 wedding before August 31, 2010 will receive a 15-percent reduction on one of the Lodge’s wedding dinner packages. Families and friends of the bridal couple will be inspired to experience the spacious Presidential Suite, located in The Clubhouse. Featuring luxe furnishings and distinctively styled Adirondack appointments, the 2,997-square-foot, two-level Presidential Suite boasts a private elevator entry, a four season porch, a romantic wood burning fireplace, one King bedroom, two rooms each with a Queen beds and an “kids room” with two Twin beds. The spacious home-like setting also offers a fully outfitted kitchen and expansive dining room. It can comfortably accommodate up to 10 guests as it also includes a sleeper sofa.

Offering full-service facilities and venues for ceremonies and receptions, The Clubhouse contains The Whispering Pines Room, a 3,800 square-foot space with floorto- ceiling windows serving as a charming pre-function area, a venue for rehearsal dinner cocktail parties, or as an ideal area for morning-after breakfast gatherings. The Mountain View Terrace includes an enclosable porch, impressive native stone fireplace and comfortable Adirondack-style furnishings for exquisite ceremonies and lavish wedding receptions.
