IN TRAVEL+LEISURE'S "AMERICA'S BEST MOUNTAIN RESORTS""
LAKE PLACID, NY (July xx, 2011) – The Whiteface Lodge, Lake Placid is pleased to announce an important accolade from Travel+Leisure, one of America's most prestigious travel and lifestyle magazines.
In a special section of its July issue entitled "America's Best Mountain Resorts," Travel+Leisure ranked the Whiteface Lodge first in Lake Placid, first in the Northeast, first in New York State and sixth overall in the US. The rankings were based on Travel+Leisure's 2010 readership poll. The photo used as the anchor to the article is an exterior image of the Lodge.
