The Whiteface Lodge Rated As The Top Resort in Northeastern US in Travel + Leisure’s 2010 World’s Best Awards

LAKE PLACID, NY (July 2010) – The Whiteface Lodge was listed as the 14th “best resort” in the US and Canada, achieving the highest ranking for a resort in the Northeastern US in Travel + Leisure’s 15th annual World’s Best Awards issue. As testament to its commitment of service and excellence, the Adirondack-based Lodge moved up significantly from its 2009 ranking of #22 to #14 on the 2010 list.

The 15th-annual World’s Best Awards evaluates the very best in the hospitality industry, including destinations, resorts, cruise lines, airlines and more, as determined by a readers’ poll. The Whiteface Lodge achieved a high score of 91.25, judged on suites and facilities, location, service, food and value.
