- Travel+Leisure's "T+L 500" ("Top 500 best hotels in the world) - As a family friendly resort, ranked first in Lake Placid.

- Condé Nast Traveler’s Reader’s Choice Awards – Tied for 10th place out of 150 mainland US resorts. Ranked first in New York State, first in the Adirondacks, first in Lake Placid and was the only Adirondack-area property listed in the top 125 resorts.
- Condé Nast Traveler’s Reader’s Choice Awards – Tied for 5th Place in its annual “Top 50 Ski Hotels in North America.” First resort named in New York State and the first Adirondack-area property named in the top 30 listings.
- Outside Magazine – Named as “One of the Most Romantic Lodges in the Northeast.” The only Adirondack hotel or resort to achieve this honor.
- Travel+Leisure’s “America’s Best Mountain Resorts” – Ranked first in Lake Placid, first in the Northeast, first in New York State and sixth overall in the US. The rankings were based on Travel+Leisure’s 2010 readership poll.
- Travel+Leisure’s “Best Ski Hotels in the US & Canada” – Secured 5th placed out of 27 hotels / resorts named. The Lodge also ranked first in the Northeastern US.
- Travel+Leisure's "Top 500 Best Hotels in the World" – Ranked first in the Northeastern US and New England areas, and listed within the top 30 hotels and resorts overall in the Continental US.
